Parkview's Annual Innovation Challenge

Parkview Health's fifth annual Innovation Challenge is accepting ideas for ways to reduce health care costs. The "Healthy Care, Healthy Costs" challenge is the result of a partnership between Parkview, Butler University and Hylant insurance brokerage. One of the students' suggestions was that fall risk assessments could save lives and cut costs. Making annual fall risk assessments a routine part of senior checkups could save the state of Indiana an estimated $115 million and prevent approximately 41 deaths annually.
