Ohio Unclaimed Funds

If you live in Ohio, state officials remind you to check for unclaimed funds. Ohio has $4.8 billion in unclaimed funds, which come from dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, utility deposits, and other sources. Governor Mike DeWine also recently signed a law introducing a 10-year deadline to claim funds before they become state property.
