Ohio Minimum Wage to Increase 2.8% on Jan. 110/01/2025The minimum wage in Ohio will be going up in 2026. On January 1st, Ohio’s minimum wage will increase from $10.70 per hour to $11 for non-tipped employees. For tipped employees, it’ll go up from $5.35 per hour to $5.50. The 2.8% increase reflects a mandate from Ohio’s constitution that says the state’s minimum wage shall increase on January 1st each year by the rate of inflation.
