Ohio Intoxicating Hemp Ban, Temporary THC Beverage Legalizing Sent to Gov. DeWine After Passing Senate12/10/2025A bill in Ohio that seeks to ban intoxicating hemp products, temporarily legalize THC beverages, and change some of Ohio’s other marijuana laws has been passed by the Senate. The bill would prohibit intoxicating products from being available outside marijuana dispensaries and allow THC beverages to be sold in Ohio until December 31, 2026. It would also prohibit having marijuana purchased outside Ohio, including Michigan. The bill goes next to Governor Mike DeWine’s desk for his signature. Click here to see the page for Senate Bill 56.
