Ohio Governor Sends Help to Three Counties Affected by Storms

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says Perry, Muskingum and Morgan counties will receive additional state assistance from Ohio National Guard members and other crews following rainfall on Sunday.  The governor's office says the assets, which include troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation, will assist local first responders in the three counties.  DeWine's office said local officials are asking for help with traffic control, which is being provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. They are also seeking help with clearing debris in the roadways, bridges, rights of way and other public places, as well as sand bagging and food distribution.
