Ohio Gov. DeWine Signs "Avery's Law" to Increase Penalties Against Owners of Dogs That Attack

A bill in Ohio that increases penalties for dog owners if their dog attacks other people has been signed into law by Governor Mike DeWine. House Bill 247 outlines the steps that authorities can take against owners of dogs that have attacked other people, including criminal penalties and actions against the dog itself.
