Ohio EPA Drops Proposal to Create Data Center Wastewater Discharge Permit

A proposal in Ohio to create a general permit that allows data centers to discharge wastewater into the state’s bodies of water is not moving forward. The Ohio EPA said it carefully reviewed a significant volume of public comments on the issue. The Ohio EPA said data centers can continue to apply for individual National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits.
