Ohio Department of Transportation 2026 Projects04/01/2026The state of Ohio is planning for nearly 1,000 construction projects this year. The state’s department of transportation says $3.4-billion in road work will take place throughout Ohio. This includes 739 bridges and more than 45-hundred miles of roadway. Notable projects in northwest Ohio will include the construction of roundabouts at State Route 15 and Ralston Avenue in Defiance County and at U.S. 224 and the Lincoln Highway in Van Wert County.
