Ohio Department of Agriculture Expands Spotted Lanternfly Quarantine Statewide02/18/2026A quarantine in Ohio of the spotted lanternfly has been expanded statewide by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. That means trees and nursery stock cannot be transported out of Ohio without being inspected, having a certificate confirming they’re free of the invasive bug, and other requirements.
