Northern Lights Tonight?

Area Weather Watchers have reported a Veterans Day sighting of the northern lights across Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. You may still have the chance to see the rare event tonight as well.  The chance to see the northern lights is due to a strong solar flare that’s part of a significant geomagnetic storm on the sun. The energy gets sent our direction and, when it encounters our atmosphere, a colorful display can result.
