New Study Shows How Millennials, Gen Z Are Driving Bible Reading Comeback11/10/2025There’s been a national rebound in Bible reading among U.S. adults. That’s according to new research from the State of the Church initiative by the research organization Barna Group and the technology platform called “Gloo.” Young adults are driving the surge with millennials and Gen Z showing significant jumps in engaging with Scripture while young men are reading the Bible more than young women in 2025. The researchers said this indicates that people aren’t just curious about faith but are opening Scripture for themselves. It also challenges church leaders to go deeper with opportunities to help people live what they read. Click here to read the study from State of the Church.
