New Laws in Indiana

Four-dozen bills - dealing with immigration, homelessness, student cellphone use and more – were signed into law by Indiana Gov. Mike Braun. The new laws include mandating that local governments must cooperate with any federal immigration requests…and businesses would be punished for employing unauthorized workers. Another round of bills is expected to hit his desk soon.  Most of the new laws take effect on July first.
