New Healthy Michigan Plan Eligibility Requirements to Start Jan. 2027

If you’re enrolled in the Healthy Michigan Plan, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is preparing to implement federally required changes to Medicaid. Starting in January 2027, certain HMP members between 19 and 64 may need to meet new work requirements or quality for an exemption to keep coverage.
