NACS Superintendent Wayne Barker to Retire in 2027

Northwest Allen County Schools has announced Superintendent Wayne Barker’s plans to retire. He will retire effective June 30, 2027, wrapping up a 38-year career in public education. Barker expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve NACS. The district’s Board of Trustees will share more information about the superintendent transition process once plans are finalized.
