Militants Kidnap 163 People from Churches in Nigeria Amid Ongoing Persecution

While persecution of Christians continues in Nigeria, 163 people were abducted by militants on Sunday from at least two churches in north-central Nigeria. The Christian Association of Nigeria said 172 people were initially abducted, but nine of them escaped immediately afterward. Local authorities were still investigating the incident.
