Michigan High School Graduation Rate Reaches Record 84% in 2025

The state of Michigan’s high school graduation rate reached a record high in 2025 with the rate rising to 84%. That’s up by 1.2 percentage points from the year before and marks an increase for 14 of 17 student groups. State officials said rigorous secondary school programs in Michigan such as Career and Technical Education and dual enrollment have contributed to the improved graduation rate.
