Marion, IN Mayor Morrell Jr. No Longer Supporting Proposed Data Center

A proposed data center project in Marion is no longer receiving support from Mayor Ronald Morrell Jr., adding that no proposal will be sent to council. He announced details earlier this week about Project Riverjump, which would’ve been a $2 billion, 800-acre technology campus in west Marion. Mayor Morrell Jr. said his administration was approached about the potential development but did not name the developers or company behind it. The city has yet to respond to a request for comment.
