Lucas County Clean Up

If you live in Lucas County and are planning on doing some cleanup over Thanksgiving weekend, the Hoffman Road landfill is having its last Free Disposal Day of the year. Extra trash, furniture, carpeting, mattress, wood waste, and scrap metal are accepted. Items that are not accepted include yard waste and various hazardous materials. The free disposal day is at the Hoffman Road Landfill, 3962 Hoffman Road, Toledo, on Saturday from 8 to 1. A valid driver's license will be required for proof f residency.
