Local School Class Wins Award in AI Challenge

An East Allen County School project that was designed to connect students' learning to a college basketball tournament has gained the class an award for creating the best mascot using AI. Hillary Bowman's sixth grade class at Woodlan Elementary School created Chester the Cheez-It as part of the March Madness Syllabus Challenge. Chester is in the shape of a cheesy cracker with a face, a large smile, two arms and hands featuring wristbands and two legs with feet wearing sneakers.  The educational challenge was funded by the NCAA.
