Large Meat Recall Over Possible Listeria Expands to 12 Million Pounds10/17/2024A nationwide recall of meat and poultry products potentially contaminated with listeria bacteria has expanded to nearly 12 million pounds. It also includes ready-to-eat meals sent to schools, restaurants and grocery stores. The recall includes foods sold at Costco, Trader Joes, Target, Walmart, Kroger and other stores. The meat used in those products was processed at a Durant, Oklahoma, plant operated by BrucePac. No illnesses linked to the recall have been confirmed. Consumers can search the USDA website to find affected products, which should be discarded. The recalled foods can be identified by establishment numbers “51205 or P-51205” inside or under the USDA mark of inspection.Click here for the full list of affected items.
