IURC to Launch Investigative Inquiry on Energy Bill Affordability with I&M, NIPSCO

An investigative inquiry on energy affordability will be conducted by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. The IURC will call Indiana’s five largest utilities, including NIPSCO and Indiana Michigan Power, to speak on energy affordability, bill rates, and steps that can be taken to address rising costs. It comes as public concerns mount in Indiana over high utility costs for customers. The inquiry will be in Indianapolis on March 24th from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hearing will also be livestreamed at this link.
