IURC Holds Investigative Inquiry Amid High Energy Costs; Customer Listening Sessions Planned03/25/2026While residents across Indiana face higher utility costs, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission held an investigative inquiry yesterday into energy costs. The state’s five largest utilities, including Indiana Michigan Power and NIPSCO, spoke before the IURC about energy affordability. It comes as the IURC has received an unprecedented number of complaints about higher utility bills. The IURC plans to hold listening sessions across the area to hear feedback from customers.
