Indiana's Oldest Skating Rink Celebrates 100 Years

A local roller skating rink is celebrating a landmark birthday this weekend.  Bell’s skating rink will celebrate 100 years of being in business.  The owners of Indiana’s oldest skating rink say it has had many changes since it opened in 1926, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the way it welcomes and treats its customers like they are family. Bell’s will allow the first 100-customers skate for free on Friday and Saturday.  New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael will have the honor of cutting the ribbon on the facility at tomorrow’s opening session.
