Indiana State Fair to Repeat Military & First Responders Day August 19th08/13/2026Due to the early closure of the Indiana State Fair on Wednesday, August 12 because of severe weather, the Indiana State Fair will once again recognize Military and First Responders Day on Wednesday, August 19. All active-duty military, retired military, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders will receive free admission to the Fair on August 19 with valid identification. The 2026 Indiana State Fair takes place from August 7th to August 23rd (closed Mondays).
