Indiana Severe Weather Preparedness Week is March 8-1403/10/2026As we start heading into spring, this week is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana. The National Weather Service is emphasizing a variety of severe weather topics March 8-14 through social media, including watches and warnings, tornadoes, floods, and more. As part of this week, Indiana’s Statewide Tornado Drill is Tuesday, March 10th in partnership with multiple agencies. A test tornado warning will be issued at about 10:15 a.m. that’ll be shared through Emergency Alert Systems. Remember that it’s only a test.
