Indiana Senate Narrowly Passes Casino Bill02/25/2026Indiana House Bill 1038 that seeks to bring a casino to northeast Indiana was narrowly passed by the state Senate yesterday. During testimony, state Senators Liz Brown of Fort Wayne and Tyler Johnson of Leo took issue with the bill lacking a voter referendum as well as significant concerns from the community.
