Indiana, Michigan SNAP Benefits to be Partial, Delayed Under New USDA Guidance11/06/2025Food assistance through SNAP will be delayed for recipients in Indiana and Michigan. That’s according to the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Under new guidance from the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, a revised formula using new federally determined allotments and household income will be used to calculate November benefits. What that means is there will be partial benefits that’ll be delayed by at least a week in Indiana, but will be issued starting on Saturday in Michigan.
