Indiana Michigan Power Temporarily Suspends Nonpayment Disconnections Amid High Heat

This week’s extreme temperatures and heat index values are leading Indiana Michigan Power to temporarily suspend disconnections for nonpayment beginning Wednesday, June 10th. I&M will continue to monitor weather conditions in the days ahead and extend the disconnection pause as needed. I&M also says if you see crews not actively working or sitting in trucks, workers are taking scheduled breaks to hydrate and avoid heat-related illnesses.
