Indiana Lawmakers to Address Redistricting in December

Lawmakers in Indiana plan on addressing the ongoing issue of congressional redistricting during the first two weeks of December instead of holding a special session. Republican House Speaker Todd Huston said the discussions will happen during an earlier, regular General Assembly session that kicks off with an Organization Day on November 18th to be more cost effective. State Democratic leaders have dismissed redistricting, saying they instead plan to address various cost of living issues during the next Indiana General Assembly.
