Ind. Gov. Braun Signs Nonprofit Hospital Bill05/09/2025A bill in Indiana that requires some hospitals to lower their prices or lose their nonprofit status has been signed into law by Governor Mike Braun. The new law requires nonprofit hospital systems to submit audited financial statements to the state department and lower inpatient and outpatient prices to the statewide average or lower.
