General "Mad" Anthony Wayne Parade Cancelled

This summer’s parade in downtown Fort Wayne, the General "Mad" Anthony Wayne Parade, has been cancelled. General "Mad" Anthony Wayne Organization Chairman J. Michael Loomis said that’s because of a lack of funding for the parade’s biggest expenses of safety and security. No refunds will be needed for those who registered for the parade since no payments were collected or processed. Loomis said organizers will start planning in September for the 2026 parade with the hopes of commemorating the U.S.’ 250th anniversary.
