FWCS Board Votes for Non-teacher Pay Raises11/11/2025The Fort Wayne Community Schools board agreed Monday to boost pay for various non-teaching staff by 2%. These compensation changes - which affect bus drivers, nurses and others - came two weeks after the board ratified a two-year agreement with the teachers union. Four-year contracts with three unions - Teamsters Local 414, Fort Wayne Classified Association and Fort Wayne Nurses Association - were reopened to renegotiate compensation. The salaries and wages will increase by percentages consistent with increases for teachers.
