FW Zoo Mourning Loss of Harbor Seal, Ronan

The Fort Wayne Zoo is mourning the loss of its harbor seal, Ronan, on Monday morning. The zoo said it’s not clear why he passed away. Ronan arrived at the Fort Wayne Zoo in November 2024 and quickly became a guest favorite after his spring 2025 debut. The zoo added that it was grateful for the opportunity to have cared for Ronan and for the positivity he brought to visitors.
