Fort Wayne Police Department Takes Flock Cameras Offline, Discontinues Partnership

The Fort Wayne Police Department has announced that the city’s Flock license plate reader cameras are now offline. It comes after City Council unanimously voted to not continue the contract with Flock, and a conversation with Mayor Sharon Tucker. The FWPD said the department’s subscription with Flock has been canceled, data-sharing relationships have been terminated, and data stored in the Flock system has been deleted. Flock will begin removing cameras throughout Fort Wayne.
