Fort Wayne official, city councilman at odds over data center bills

Some data center-related bills being considered by Fort Wayne City Council have received a response from a city official. Community Development Director Jonathan Leist (LYEst – long “I”) took issue with the bills over what he said is a lack of input from the city along with inaccuracies. The bills were authored by Councilman Russ Jehl (“Yale”) and seek to establish oversight of the Google data center and its promises.
