Fort Wayne City Clerk and Indiana Republican Party Chair Lana Keesling said she was swatted last week. Swatting is an illegal act where a false or prank call is made to law enforcement to create a large police response. Keesling said the two swatting attempts happened last week, and it took several days for her to write about it publicly. It’s the latest in a string of swatting attempts against elected officials in Indiana.
