Flags in Wood County Flying at Half-Staff in Honor of Firefighter

Flags will be flown at half-staff throughout Wood County today in honor of the life and service of Perrysburg Township Firefighter and Paramedic Troy Bernhard, who recently passed away from cancer. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine ordered the flags lowered yesterday and they will be flown at half-staff until sunset the day of Bernhard’s funeral on Saturday, October 5th.
