Findley Schools Looking for Better School Year

After a year marked by budget cuts, staff reductions and transportation changes, Findlay City Schools is entering the new academic year with what Superintendent Andy Hatton calls renewed optimism. The 2025-26 school year required difficult decisions for the district as it worked through financial challenges. But as students return to class, Hatton says the mood in the district has shifted.  The goal is to rebuild the classroom, which is where that optimism starts with instruction. The district has rebuilt its instructional coaching team and added new layers of support for teachers and principals.
