Elevator at Lima Municipal Building to be Closed for 6 Weeks for Maintenance08/27/2026There will be a few temporary changes at the Lima Municipal Center starting Thursday, August 27th. The City of Lima, Ohio said the elevator at the center will be out of service for about six weeks while necessary work is completed. The Lima Municipal Center and city departments will remain open during that time, but the availability of Council Chambers will be affected. Lima City Council meetings in September will be held at a different location.
