Egg Prices Lower

Good news for the price of eggs…while prices hovered around $3.45 a dozen a year ago, Summit City shoppers will see prices closer to $2 per dozen.  This comes even after a continued concern over bird flu outbreaks in four states that includes Indiana.  Six more cases have been confirmed in LaGrange and Elkhart counties.  Forty-four farms have been affected in Indiana with chickens depopulated by more than 300,000.
