ECHL, Professional Hockey Players Association Reach Official Agreement

A strike is now over after the Professional Hockey Players’ Association and the ECHL reached an official agreement. That allows the Fort Wayne Komets and the Toledo Walleye to head back to the ice tonight for games against other teams. The ECHL said the new collective bargaining agreement significantly increases player compensation, improves health and safety, and delivers on new initiatives. The new agreement lasts until the 2029-2030 season.
