Dupont Hospital's Birthplace to Receive Renovations, Expansion07/30/2026Lutheran Health Network has announced a major renovation and expansion of the Birthplace at the Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne that’ll start on Monday, August 3rd. Lutheran Health Network says the renovation comes after Dupont Hospital had 282 births in June, a new monthly record for the hospital. The project will also add two new labor and delivery rooms. Construction will last 9 to 12 months, and the Birthplace will remain open.
