Deep Partial Lunar Eclipse Thursday Night Into Friday Morning

You’ll have a chance to see a deep partial lunar eclipse this week, weather permitting. The moon will briefly pass through the Earth’s shadow Thursday night into Friday. Ninety-six percent of the lunar surface will be covered, causing the moon to appear reddish brown with a small sliver of light. The eclipse will reach its peak at 12:12 a.m. on Friday.
