Cuts Expected at FWCS Central Office Amid Financial Uncertainty

Several positions are expected to be eliminated at Fort Wayne Community Schools’ central office as the district faces financial uncertainties. FWCS said there are also several administrators submitting paperwork for retirement and there would be some reorganization of duties between positions. The district did not say how many positions would be affected. Superintendent Dr. Mark Daniel said FWCS wants to keep cuts away from the classroom.
