Cooling Centers Open in Toledo, Lucas County

TOLEDO, OH – The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Lucas County from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 3. The following locations are open to the public as cooling centers.

Hours vary by location — please call ahead to confirm hours of operation. TARTA's regular fixed route service can get passengers to many of the cooling centers listed. Residents needing transportation assistance should call 211.

Please note that cooling center locations only allow documented service animals. However, all Metroparks have dog watering stations and shady spots for residents and their pets to keep cool.

Toledo
