Cleanup Continuing in Whitehouse, Ohio Oil Spill03/11/2025Efforts are continuing in Whitehouse, Ohio to clean up a hydraulic oil spill that took place last Thursday. It happened during demolition of a former metal packaging facility and oil leaked into Blue Creek. Crews from the EPA are helping the Whitehouse Fire Department control the flow in Swan Creek while parts of the Wabash Cannonball Trail were closed. The fire department said the drinking water remains safe. The EPA says if you see any sheens in Swan Creek, they should be reported to authorities.
