Carmel Teacher Nominated for Teacher of the Year

Carmel Clay Schools has announced that West Clay Elementary first-grade teacher Mrs. Megan Cronkhite has been selected as a Top 25 finalist for the 2026 Indiana Teacher of the Year. The district said Cronkhite represents the best of the best in education with her dedication to students and learning. She moves onto the next stage of the selection process with the Indiana Department of Education. The Indiana Teacher of the Year will be announced later this fall.
