Andy Wilson Appointed Ohio Attorney General Upon Yost's Resignation05/12/2026Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is appointing Andy Wilson as the state’s next attorney general after Attorney General Dave Yost resigns on June 7th to take a private sector job. Wilson is currently the director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, and will serve the remainder of Yost’s term, which ends in January 2027.
