Allen Co. Commissioners Consider Legal Action Against TRAA Over Funding Demands12/19/2025The Allen County, Indiana Board of Commissioners could take legal action against the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority amid an ongoing dispute over funding. TRAA requested compensation from the county for specialized emergency medical dispatch services for 911 calls made outside Fort Wayne and proposed some payment plan options. But, the commissioners rejected TRAA’s $400,000 request. The commissioners also emphasized that 911 calls will continue to be answered across Allen County and first responders will be dispatched.
