AAA: Record-Breaking Thanksgiving Travel Expected11/25/2024(AP/WBCL) - If you’re traveling for Thanksgiving, you’ll be part of a record-breaking crowd. AAA projects that nearly 80 million people will travel over the 7-day Thanksgiving travel period. Records for traveling by car and flying are projected to be broken as well, even surpassing pre-pandemic levels. AAA says the worst times to travel will be in the afternoon next Tuesday and Wednesday while the best time will be Thanksgiving Day.
